I had the sudden strange urge to write a novella romcom about a zombie and a werewolf couple.

Ghost King Isn't the Only Title Danny Has

Okay, so you how monarchs can have multiple titles? Like how the heir to the English throne is both Prince/Princess and Duke/Duchess of Cornwall? And how monarchs can get titles and epithets that just stack onto their preexisting names/titles? Like "Catherine the Great" or how Daenerys gets her famous list of "Stormborn, the Unburnt, Mother of Dragons, etc."?

Well, there are dozens upon dozens of names for the Infinite Realms. The Ghost Zone might be what Amity Park calls it, but there have been hundreds of names for it throughout history. The Afterlife, Sheol, Heaven & Hell, Purgatory & Limbo, Valhalla, and so on and so forth.

So when Danny finally gives in and lets himself be crowned, he doesn't just become the Ghost King. Oh no. He is crowned "King Daniel Fenton, First of His Name, Protector of the Infinite Realms, Defeater of Pariah Dark, Liege of Fright Knight, Ice Mage of the Far Frozen, and Hades of the Underworld."

And then a few months later when Danny inevitably gets summoned and pops up on the Justice League's radar, there's some serious side-eyeing going on because 'Diana, why didn't you mention your uncle looked like a teenager? Why does one of the most powerful gods like to hang out in teenaged form anyway?'

Just... give me an unknowning Danny accidentally inheriting a niece along with the crown, and that niece just so happens to be Wonder Woman.

Thinking about Tim accidently adopting Maps the same way Bruce adopted him-

Like Maps showing up to save Tim's ass, because he's losing in a fight (that he should definitely be winning but "fOr sOmE rEaSoN" isn't). Afterwards Tim's like "Kid you cannot be out here", but Maps ends up following him around, as he tries to escape via rooftops, and after like 30 minutes of convincing, Tim is (partially forced) to bring her back to his house(/Nest) because "She has no where to sleep :(". And then two seconds after she lays down to nap Tim calls Jason in a panic

When Jason shows up Tim just opens the door to reveal a child sleeping on his couch.

Jason: ...You really are a Bruce mini, you're stealing children now Timbit?

Tim, slightly hysterical: No, no no, its worse than that. She showed up in the middle of a fight, that I was totally winning, saved my ass, revealed she knows who I am, demanded she become my protégé, claimed I was "a danger to myself and others" and I "Needed someone to ground me like Robin grounds Batman", and then she gaslit me into bringing her back to my house.

Jason:

Jason: Oh my God she's just like you

Tim: SHES JUST LIKE ME!

Prompt #81 “Baby Vampire”

The Fenton parents are monster hunters.

One night they left their daughter home with a babysitter while the two of them went hunting in the woods.

They found a vampire camp. Tents posted up and a campfire burning in the middle.

The strangest part was that there was a baby boy playing with sticks and rocks near one of the tents. The vampires must have kidnapped the poor thing! And the boy was so pale, they must have been feeding off of him!

So, they attacked the camp, set fire to the tents, killed all the vampires, and took the child home with them.

They tried to feed him with all sorts of foods, but he was just getting thinner by the day.

They tried feeding him baby food, baby formula, fruits, cooked meats; he ate all of it, but nothing seemed to give him any nourishment.

But after about a week of trying and failing to feed this poor boy, Jack stumbled over something while carrying a knife, dropped said knife, and accidentally cut his hand with it.

Beads of blood rolled down his hand and dripped to the floor, when he lifted his head he saw the boy sniffing the air, his eyes glowing red.

Jack realized the mistake he and Maddie made at that campsite.

Tentatively he walked closer to the baby vampire in a high chair and let his blood drip into the boys mouth.

After that he seemed happy and livelier. Jack talked with Maddie about the baby. The boy hadn’t shown any aggression while with them, he seemed harmless so far; so they decided to take him in and continue to take care of him.

After all, they did kill his family, it was the least they could do to accept him into theirs.

They named him Daniel, Danny for short.

They raised the little vampire as if he was their own, but hid his monstrous nature from everyone, including himself.

They infused his human food with blood, so he wouldn’t know what he was really getting his nourishment from.

He grew up believing he was human. Until he turned fourteen, then everything went downhill.

"So, that exclusive restaurant is fully booked for months, but I may have 'borrowed' a couple of names from the reservation list. Feeling adventurous?"

"The old amusement park's been closed for years, but I know a way in. Imagine having all those rides to ourselves under the moonlight."

"I heard there's an underground speakeasy in this library. Apparently, you need to whisper a password to the librarian. Wanna try our luck?"

"Remember that fancy pool party we weren't invited to? I've got two waiter uniforms and a brilliant plan. You in?"

"There's a secret rooftop garden on top of that skyscraper. I bet we could talk our way past security if we pretend to be lost interns."

"I know this sounds crazy, but I found a hidden door behind the museum. Want to see where it leads after closing time?"

"The local TV station does live broadcasts from that studio. I bet with the right timing, we could sneak onto a set during a commercial break. Ready for your 15 seconds of fame?"

"I discovered a hidden hot spring in the woods just outside town. It's a bit of a hike, but imagine a midnight dip under the stars."

"There's a secret room in the library that's usually locked. I copied the key while volunteering. Want to see what forbidden books they're hiding?"

"Remember that fancy cooking class that was full? Well, I may have found a way for us to observe from the kitchen's back entrance. Hungry for some culinary espionage?"

"I know how to get onto the roof of the tallest building downtown. The view of the sunset from up there is incredible. Shall we?"

"There's a masquerade ball at the governor's mansion tonight. I've got two masks and a wild idea. Care to crash a high-society party?"

"My friend works at the zoo and says we could help feed the penguins after closing time. Interested in a secret animal encounter?"

"I heard this old theater is supposedly haunted. Want to sneak in after hours and do some ghost hunting?"

"There's a secret beach hidden behind those cliffs. The catch? We'll have to climb down a rope ladder to reach it. You up for it?"

"I found an old map of the city's underground tunnels. Fancy a subterranean adventure date?"

Jasons pit madness is actually him going mama bear mode-

I was brushing my teeth when this DC x DP idea just zapped into my brain and I HAD to let it out-

So I'd imagine that in the GZ time works differently, but in the sense where it passes really really slow compared to how it would normally pass. This is to allow newly formed spirits a time to grieve and heal before saying good bye to their loved ones.

So now imagine a newly formed Jason Todd arriving to the Ghost Zone, still donned with the Robin outfit he died in. 

While he floats aimlessly around for a while he eventually encounters another young ghost... like really young, no more then 5 years old.

He watched as this kid, his kid, grow into the powerful ghost he was always meant to be. His favourite moments where when Clockwork allowed them to visit outside the GZ to go stargazing so they could fulfil the kids space obsession. 

This ghost is Danny. (You can choose your own way of him getting there but I would imagine the portal being completed way earlier than cannon but still follows how Danny got his powers, although this time he was trapped on the other side of the portal rather than popping back out into this parents basement.)

Years pass in the GZ and Jason has officially taken Danny under his wing. At first it was difficult, he was only 15 goddammit! He shouldn’t be the soul caretaker of this kid, let alone a dead one! But the thought of leaving Danny alone in this green void made his stomach churn, he couldn’t up and leave and abandon a kid he said he would take care off, he would do anything for Danny. He wasn’t like Bruce

They were fine, happy even, he couldn’t imagine a life without this little tyke who became his whole world in the time he was in the Zone, but then it was all gone. His core felt a sudden pull so tight it felt like it was being ripped out of his body, it hurt, oh god did it hurt but it couldn’t compare to the sound of Danny’s cries as he watched Jason crumple to the ground and begin to fade away.

He stalked through Gotham at night and began setting up his plan for revenge, although Red Hood was born he couldn’t help feel like he lost something. The slightest thing would tip him of, making him go into a blind fury, ripping his enemies apart in an almost frantic desperation. He knew he was searching for something, fucking something, but what is it? 

He was back in the land of the living, and he was furious, but he didn’t know what for. His memories where fuzzy at best and the only thing he remembers is a sharpness in his chest and green in his vision. 

At first he thought it was the desire for revenge, that he was searching for retribution against the man who killed him and the man who didn’t do enough to save him, but it wasn’t until almost a year after he took up the Red Hood mantel did it all click into place and his world suddenly became right again, all it took was one voice and one word.

One of those animal bridegroom stories told from the prince's perspective where an evil witch kidnaps "him" and disguises her as a milkmaid or something but she's actually an egg and kind of a freak. Is this anything?

Like he's the typa guy to restrain himself when together. Holding hands? Super Gentle. Kisses? You'll feel like an artisan's masterpiece. That dude got scared for a bit during french-kissing, thinking he might accidentally bit you or something (He's an amateur, you understand that. If he really did, you would like it either way) He IS gentle AT FIRST. But once you reassure him enough? That man is HUNGRY. He craves intimacy whenever you're together. It doesn't even have to be always sexual. Like asking you to link pinkies with, looking at you with doe eyes that screams "please kiss me". He's gonna find a way or another to feel close to you. Now in bed, well you're really fucked, like literally. He eats you out like a starved man and go into you like there's no tomorrow. I mean, you got a cervical bruising one time. He's obviously not the doing-it-in-public-place typa guy, he prefers the comfort of your home, especially bed. That way, he gets full access to your body and vice versa. And also, that man is VOCAL. Like, he would whimper at the slightest graze of your touch. He would chase it, actually. That man wants your hands all over him, taking control and making him feel good. He wants to hear your voice, your reassurance that he is a good boy. Wants you to talk through it. And when you both finished, the aftercare is heavenly. Would not rest until you're clean and relaxed. Giving your body kisses as he cleans your body with lukewarm water (he insists the kisses makes you more clean) and him occasionally wanting you to kiss him, on his forehead, nose, everywhere really.

" 'Just need your touch" he mumbles often.

When the bed is also rid of all the filth, he always wants to be spooned as you two fell asleep. Would not have the other way. Mutters "i love you s' much" until his body and mind embrace sleep.

Humans are Space Orcs: reverse pack bonding

Ok, so we all know humans will pack bond with anything, and I've seen plenty of fics based around the idea of 'human adopts alien because it's cute/fluffy.' BUT.... what about the reverse? Why wouldn't an alien adopt a human/see it as its' parent for whatever reason, I mean there's several instances of birds (particularly geese) imprinting on humans (both accidentally and deliberately) who are there when they hatch, so why wouldn't that happen in space? Say a human crew find and are examining an alien creature's nest just as an egg hatches. Then the hatchling automatically sees the human as its' parent.

Possibly a hot take but I personally believe Tim Drake has older child trauma.

As an older child myself I could not relate more to his time as Robin. Having the entire responsibility of not only taking care of yourself as a child, but also a whole entire adult that's supposed to be taking care of you? That's a classic grade A older child problem, and something I've experienced myself.

I also think it's such a contrast to Dick's older child trauma. Now, ngl, I know almost nothing about Dick Grayson, so tell me if I'm wrong, but from what I got in Teen Titans Bruce treats Dick like he's incapable of taking care of himself, like the world's most neglectful helicopter parent. Dick's essentially been told "You're not smart enough, strong enough, or capable enough to do you own thing so I'm going to treat you like a child" and he has decided that actually he can deal with everything ever all on his own and now he's going to prove it. This ends as well as you'd expect.

In the exact opposite yet eerily similar case, Tim finds an incredibly mentally ill Batman, and with his sense of justice and already formed belief that he can also take care of everything all on his own, decides its now his job to parent a full grown man. And eventually he's fully expected to, all on his own, because obviously he's smart enough, strong enough, and capable enough to deal with the psychological delicacies of a parent losing their child, at the ripe age of...what, 12? Yeah that'll end...about as well as you'd expect

Such and interesting case of underestimating a child and overestimating a child. From the same parent to-. I think the conversations Dick and Tim have about Bruce during their Robin days is very interesting and very confusing for both of them. It's almost like talking about two completely different people. You know now that I think about it this could also be youngest child trauma. "I've already had two other kids so I'm all out of fucks to give about this newest one" yk?

Tim is collecting trauma types like they're Pokémon cards. He's been the oldest, the youngest, and the middle child.
